Facilitated by KATD Artistic Producer Andrew Chandler, this 8-week acting workshop will train 8 selected

participants into fighting shape!

Winter 2020 Term:

Monday nights, Feb 10 - Apr 6, 7 - 10pm

Cost: $125 per participant

Please note: All skill levels will be considered. Auditions are to ensure diversity and breadth of experience among the participants.

Sick of your old monologues?  Tired of auditioning, but not booking the gig?  Need inspiration to learn some new skills?  Want a chance to play with some new colleagues?

Over the course of 8 weeks, you will be expected to perform and workshop 3 different monologues that show contrast. One should be Canadian. One can be a song. During weeks 1-6, Actors will build upon existing skills and material, gain new perspectives and approaches to the work, and perform weekly, with guidance and feedback provided by the group. In weeks 7-8, all participants will perform mock auditions, developing crucial skills to help you stay calm, have fun, and book the gig!
